Proceso de verificación de identidad:
Before a document can be notarized, each signer must complete two forms of identity verification:
- Automated Identity Verification
- Notary Review of Verification Results
Proceso de verificación automatizada de identidad:
Signers are required to successfully complete identity proofing and credential analysis to confirm their identity before the notarization can proceed.
Antes de comenzar, por favor asegúrese de lo siguiente:
* Have your original physical identification available.
(Photographs, photocopies, screenshots, digital images, and other reproductions of identification are not accepted.)
* Be physically present with the device used to complete the verification.
(Photographs, prerecorded videos, and participation through a secondary video conference are not accepted.)
How to Complete Automated ID Verification:
1. Select your name from the list of signers on the meeting page to begin the process.
(If your name is not listed, it can be added.)
2. On the next screen, select "BEGIN AUTOMATED ID VERIFICATION."
3. Scan the QR code using your mobile device.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to photograph your identification.
5. Finally, follow the on-screen instructions to take a live selfie and complete the verification process.
Notary Review of Verification Results:
After the automated identity verification process is completed, the notary must independently review the verification results and the identification information approved by the system.
The notary reviews the available credential analysis, identity proofing results, identification details, and other verification information to confirm that the signer has been satisfactorily identified.
Signers are not required to display their identification on camera unless the notary determines that additional verification is necessary.
